What we receive

What you send through the assistant or the form: email, message, project description and, if you provide them, name, company, phone, deadline and budget. Nothing reaches the team until you click “Send to the team”.

Why

Only to reply to your request and, if you wish, prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Your data is never sold or used for automated prospecting.

Service providers

Cloudflare: hosting and security of the site, delivery of emails sent to the team, audience statistics.
OpenAI: analysing your description from its first send in the assistant. API data is not used to train its models by default. Response storage is disabled, but security logs may typically be kept for up to 30 days, or longer for legal or security reasons. This setting does not guarantee zero retention.
Resend: delivering your request to the team, from its servers in Ireland.
Google/Gmail: receiving and storing your message in the mailbox used by the team, after Cloudflare routes it there.

The estimate amount is computed by our own grid, never by the AI.

Transfers outside the European Union

These services may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. Transfer mechanisms and safeguards depend on the provider, service and type of account used.

For Gmail, Google LLC states that it adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses where required. Transfer mechanisms published by Google.

Retention

Requests that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to three years after your last contact, in the mailbox and tracking tools used by the team, then deleted. If a contract is agreed, the necessary records are kept to perform it and meet applicable legal obligations. Providers also apply their own technical retention periods.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, or get a copy of it. Write to contact@laekat.com. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Dictation uses your browser’s speech recognition, which may rely on an online service from the browser vendor. Laekat neither receives nor keeps any audio. A draft of the journey (description, answers, message and contact details) stays in this tab’s session so you can resume after a reload; it is cleared after a successful submission or reset. It is not saved to persistent storage.

Cookies and analytics

When you choose French or English, the functional “laekat-language” cookie remembers your preference for one year. It is not used to track visitors. Audience measurement uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies and no visitor identifier, only aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, load times).
